Reasons for Contacting Us:

Ellis Fall Safety Solutions (EFSS), a Division of DSC, will come to your site and assess your fall protection problems and needs. Contact EFSS for your anchorage point engineering needs, OSHA compliance and violation abatement surveys, insurance risk assessment evaluations, construction safety and hazard reviews.

Dr. Ellis, EFSS' founder and CEO, is an active member of the Z 359 committee and was intimately involved in the newly approved revisions and additions to the Z-359 Fall Protection Code. EFSS is ready TODAY to help you become Z359 Compliant both by assessing what you currently have in place and by training you on the new Z359 Code requirements. Dr. Ellis also is an expert witness in fall protection and is available nationwide to testify in your fall case. Go to the Ellis Litigation Support pages on this web site to find out more about what services we provide to assist in preparing your fall protection case.

We design horizontal lifeline (HLL) and rigid rail systems, and specialize in installations for rail car, truck, airplane/aircraft hangars and rooftop access protection. Ellis Fall Safety Solutions can assess and design fall protection systems for your bulk loading and unloading needs as well. EFSS can meet all your fall protection needs.

EFSS is in the forefront of developing systems for tankcar fall protection, truck fall protection, flatbed truck fall protection, box car fall protection, tank truck fall protection and automobile/car carriers/autocarrier fall protection. The fall hazards faced by drivers loading and unloading trucks and accessing the tops of carriers and tankcars are taken very seriously by EFSS. Dr. Ellis recently has completed a study to obtain input from drivers about what they want and need in the way of fall protection that realistically and easily can be put to use on the road. The results of this study were published in the May 2008 issue of Professional Safety. Click here read the entire article which appears in our What's New section Ellis Truck Tarping Article.

EFSS also can handle all your training needs. Don't wait for an OSHA citation or a serious injury to train your work force. Contact us now and we can come to site to train and certify your work force in standard OSHA competent and qualified person courses or we can create a course to meet your specific needs.

Ellis Ladder Improvements, Inc.offers a line of safety devices to improve fixed ladder and roof hatch safety. Visit the Products section of this web site to see how fixed ladder horizontal grab bars and roof hatch horizontal grab bars can make your structure safer. GrabSafe attaches extension rails that provide horizontal grab bars for ladders. HatchGrip increases roof hatch safety by adding horizontal grab bars to the hatch, and HatchSafe also incorporates safety railings around the hatch opening. It is expected that ladder grab bars/ladder horizontal grab bars soon will be required by statute/regulation.
